Pikos is a transient meter built around one idea: give you an accurate visual read of your transients while keeping full control over how they’re shaped. No bloat, no unnecessary complexity. Just a clean, fast interface that shows you what your signal is doing and lets you act on it.
WHAT IT DOES
Real-time transient visualization with adjustable time window. Integrated soft clipper with threshold control and live display of the clipper’s effect on the signal. Color knob for saturation amount. Clip knob to set the clipping threshold, with real-time visual feedback showing exactly where and how the clipper is hitting. Multiple clipping modes selectable directly from the interface: Off · Soft · Tape · ASAT · Limit · Hard.
The rendering stays fluid even on dense sessions. CPU footprint is kept minimal by design.
CONTROLS
Window — expands or contracts the visualization time range to read transients at any scale. Color adds saturation to the signal for harmonic density and glue. Clip sets the clipper threshold. The display updates in real time to show the incidence of clipping on your waveform.
