3. Save this state as default preset with your DAW

Now, you will be able to load new instances with same size.

An audio plugin for mixing. YS – Master Hand can control volume like a master engineer’s hand. Boosts quiet passages and reduces loud passages.

Four volume control envelopes can be selected.
Linear: better suited for bus equalization; at full visual fader amplitude, it operates in the range of +/- 3 dB.
Exponential: with a deeper range of +/- 6 dB, works well on solo instruments and vocals.
Decibel curves: have an even wider range of approximately +/- 9 dB or higher depending on the sensitivity settings; can emphasize the attack of percussion instruments.

This plugin can be used to program volume automation and also use an external SideChain control source.

The plugin has two design versions: the main version and a simplified, smaller version.

The plugin was created using SynthEdit.

The Unholy pedal was the first physical pedal designed by our Lead developer Ryan (in the Revolt Custom Audio era). It’s a unique fuzz/distortion hybrid circuit, the positive waves are soft clipped and the negative waves are hard-clipped like a fuzz distortion would be.

This is a wide ranged distortion that can be used for more than just guitars. Try it blended on your vocal and drum busses for grit and character

The unholy was also the first distortion algorithm wrote specifically for Revolt DSP, this very pedal is special to us, it shows our history and even the origins of our first colour scheme

For that reason, we’ve brought it back for free with our latest generation graphics.

Grainfreeze is a real-time phase vocoder–based time-stretching and freeze processor. It loads an audio file into memory and resynthesizes it using FFT analysis and overlap-add techniques. You can click and drag around the playhead freely as you wish, moving it backwards plays the sound grains backwards as well, and have various controls for the playback speed and sound smoothing. Arguably the most interesting possibility is the spectral freeze mode, here a tiny slice of the audio gets looped using crossfading.

In the download you will find version 1.0 as shown in the video, and version 1.1 with included spectral viewer showing which notes are present in the current grain, with the 10 loudest frequencies highlighted with their note name. Please note that this plugin is very CPU intensive, on my mid-range i5 laptop it uses around 20% CPU.

Grainfreeze is inspired by the Audiostretch App from Bandlab. As there is no real VST or standalone program equivalent for this kind of tonal zero playback speed sound freezing, I made this with the help of Claude Sonnet 4.5 AI and lots of tinkering around. I have not had a great look at the FFT algorithm it implemented, but I bundled the source code written in JUCE/C++ together with the download, so if you’re a pro at this stuff you might be able to improve it further – it is completely open source 🙂

Please note that the focus is on the preservation of tonality, not transients which will get heavily smeared.

Free compressor with high-res dynamic visualiser and VCA/Optical modes.

Clearly see how the audio is affected by the compressor. The dynamic waveform display shows you the waveform before and after compression, so you can see what’s actually happening.

The gain reduction line shows you how much compression you’re applying. You can zoom in and out as you want, pause the waveform, and enable/disable beat and bar lines.

The compressor itself is highly flexible, with a high range of attack and release times from super fast (20 microsecond attack, 25ms release) to super slow (250ms attack, 5 second release).

This wide range in possible settings means you can use this compressor in any situation without limitations. Plus, with the knee control, you can achieve a wide array of different tones, and the detector high-pass filter allows you to control how the compressor reacts to low end information.

Great for vocals, bass, and anywhere else you want simple, adaptive compression.

In Optical mode, the attack time is variable, and the two-stage release adapts to the source material. The “memory effect” means that the compressor also adapts to how much gain reduction happens over time. These combined characteristics give the compressor a highly organic and musical sound, while also reducing the number of settings you have to think about.

The Delta Solo switch allows you to hear only the difference – or “Delta” – in the audio. This means you can hear exactly what the compressor is doing, and what it’s taking away.

This will give you clarity on what you’re taking away, how much you’re affecting transients, and what frequencies you’re affecting the most.

An audio plugin for mixing. This is not an exact copy of a well-known device, but its basic characteristics from the user manual were taken as a basis. If the controls are not displayed due to a weak video card, then replace the images in the root of the plugin folder with a smaller renderer from the “Knob to change” Knob 51 archive.

By default, all elements are set to smoothly switch at frame 101. If you have problems with VST3 in some DAWs on Windows, then try VST2. For fine tuning, hold down the Ctrl key.

Make vocals sit in the mix better.

1. VoxRelief Lite reduces muddy low-mid build-up (“vo-boxiness”) and harsh high-frequency glare (“vo-harshness”) in recorded vocals while preserving the important nuance and dynamics of the performance. Instead of spending creative time on complex and time-consuming processing chains just to reduce these problem areas, you can achieve a clear and natural vocal sound with a few intuitive controls.

2. The DE-BOXY knob reduces the boxy low-mid build-up often caused by proximity effect and room coloration. Rather than sounding like the vocal has been aggressively carved out with EQ or clamped down with a multiband compressor, it behaves more like carefully re-positioning the microphone to better match the source.

3. The DE-HARSHER knob tames harsh and piercing high frequencies (“vo-harshness”). It smooths aggressive top-end without making the vocal sound dull or muffled, retaining the original tone and dynamics of the voice.

Red Rock Sound HLF-3C completes the Passive EQ Collection. This plug-in has 12 dB per octave low and high cut filters, providing broad retro-tonal sculpting or bygone-era special effects, without the inconvenience of insertion loss found with the unamplified passive hardware.

You can easily subtract the unnecessary frequencies in any instrument and sub-group so they stay wonderfully musical in the mix.

The original HLF-3C hardware unit is a true passive design; there are no input/output amplifiers and it does not require any external power. As a result, there is an inherent loss of signal level when using the HLF-3C hardware. The RRS HLF-3C plug-in compensates for this inherent signal loss for simplified use in the modern era; it has unity gain upon insertion (there is no insertion loss until one or both of the cut filters is engaged).
