TheSplit is a multimode audio splitter.

It splits a signal into two complementary outputs via four modes; Use each mode as its own effect or combine with other effects to mix the split outputs separately:

1.) C&S: “Center & Sides” mode uses a mid-side algorithm to split audio in the spatial domain.
2.) L&H: “Low & High” mode uses a crossover to split audio in the frequency domain.
3.) A&S: “Attack & Sustain” mode uses a transient splitter to split audio in the time domain.
4.) L&S: “Loud & Soft” mode uses a gate to split audio in the amplitude domain.

This plugin includes optimized built-in anti-aliasing and indicates modulate-able knobs with solid lines.

size 8 MB / 20 MB

Dub-SPL4 is a simple 4 bands audio splitter, specially designed for live performances. Just put it on you master bus and start dubbing around !

It splits the incoming audio into 4 bands : Sub, Low, Medium & High frequencies. It also includes LP & HP filters with dedicated controls to adapt their resonance.

It is specially designed for Dub Music, but also for every genre you can perform live. Be it techno, Drum’n’Bass, HipHop, Electro… And don’t feel restricted to a live use ! Why not use it on a drum bus ? Or on a keyboard ? You can use it as a multi-band EQ, or only use its filters (they are awesome!).

ATKTransientSplitter is a mono transient splitter, cutting an input signal into its transient and sustain parts.
The plugin follows the implementation of the transient shaper with a twist explained on Audio Toolkit blog. The parameters are:

RMS is the size of the power windows.

Attack is the attack time constant for the slow attack/release filter.

Attack fraction (or ratio) is the percentage of the attack time constant that will be used for the fast attack/release filter. Used to work on the transient at the beginning of a sound.

Release is the release time constraint for the fast attack/release filter (as the release time has to be higher).

Release fraction (or ratio) is the percentage of the release time constant that will be used for the slow attack/release filter (as it has a faster release time constant). Used to work on the transient at the end of sound.

Threshold.

Slope is the ratio, 1 keeping the sustain at a constant RMS above the threshold, higher means that the sustain will be reduced by this factor (swell-like behavior).

Softness is an indicator of the harshness of the knee of the underlying swell.
