ToneTwist Plug is a Multi-format LV2|VST2|VST3|CLAP multi-arch Linux|macOS|Windows audio effect plugs using the DISTRHO Plugin Framework.

MetalTone:

MetalTone is modeled after the renowned BOSS MT-2 Metal Zone(*), a high gain distortion pedal with an advanced EQ section.

It has standard active EQ controls with a massive 15dB of cut/boost range for the lows and highs. It also sports a parametric active EQ for the mids with two controls: the frequency, and the boost/cut amount.

The midfreq parameter has a very wide range, going from 200Hz all the way to 5kHz. As a result, it’s better to think of it simply as a single highly flexible active EQ, and disregard the idea that it’s only for shaping the mids.

CollisionDrive:

CollisionDrive is modeled after the Horizon Devices Precision Drive(*), a modern overdrive pedal with a built-in noise gate.

Besides the usual Volume and Drive controls, the CollisionDrive features Attack and Bright controls.

The Attack control manipulates the response of the pedal, turning it down simultaneously softens the overdrive attack and increases the sustain.

The Bright control gives you even more flexibility. It can add presence to darker sounding amps, or remove buzzing when needed.

The Gate control sets the noise gate threshold. In the plugin interface, this control lights up to indicate that the noise gate is active.

ValveCaster:

The ValveCaster is a famous DIY guitar pedal schematic first put together in 2007 by Matsumin. Originally, the goal was to create a real tube boost/overdrive pedal that would run on a single 9 volt battery. With its wide range of drives, distortions and fuzzes, the ValveCaster adds a harsher, brighter colouring to the sound while offering a precise, nuanced range within the tone control.

BoobTube:

The BoobTube is a more versatile variation of the ValveCaster, a famous DIY guitar pedal schematic first put together in 2007 by Matsumin.

The BoobTube offers a warm, harmonically rich range of tones, from bright fuzzes to darker distortions, without actually colouring the sound. The DIY project quickly became popular amongst sound enthusiasts searching for that tube-y goodness.

TubeWarmth is a tube overdrive.

At the heart of this effect is the desire to achieve a tube sound, with all its inherent roughness and vividness, from a dry digital signal. TL TubeWarmth adds even-numbered harmonies to the input signal, which contributes to expanding the tone of the instrument, giving it new colors and depth. The main aim of TubeWarmth is to bring the cold and precise digital sound closer to the warm and vivid sound of the tube. Simple in its conception, this effect provides two features. Dizztroy 2 is a bitcrush / overdrive / distortion vst effect plugin which is made for soft and heavy audio distortion.

It is perfect to blow up your drumloops or leadsynths, making badass hardcore kicks, or completely destroy your signal to sound like a broken fm radio.

It contains a bitcrusher, samplerate reducer, 8 overdrive / distortion algorithms with a low- and highpass filter, a waveshape distortion with a peak filter, a filter with 5 different filtertypes and a global highpass filter to round up the perfect dizztroying machine.

Additionally it offers you an envelope follower and a very flexible multisegment envelope generator to modulate the different parameters. All FX can be placed on the preferred position in the signal chain easily via drag and drop.

One of the big deals what Dizztroy offers to you is that you can draw the waveshape of the distortion by yourself, with the smooth button you can round off your envelope step by step to shape the perfect distortion, after shaping you can save  the shape to one of the 4 snapshots or to your harddrive, if you destroyed the perfect waveshape by mistake just undo up to 10 steps.

The focus while developing Dizztroy was on drum distortion but nevertheless it is great for blowing up your leadsynths, guitars or for dirty and screaming voices, moreover it is not only made for sounddesigning in the studio, every parameter provides a MIDI learn function, just rightclick on a controller and move any fader, button or knob on your MIDI hardware controller and use it in your liveperformance to give it the power it needs.

• Multi segment envelope generator: Gives you the possibility to create a unique, syncronised envelope to modulate any FX parameter. You can choose between 6 different ways of transition for each envelope segment, and save or load the envelope from / to your disk. Furthermore you can set the speed and the number of segments (steps) for the envelope.
