Zam Plugins Bundle v4.3 Win Mac Linux

224/334/187 MB

zam-plugins is a collection of LV2/LADSPA/VST/JACK audio plugins for sound processing developed in-house at ZamAudio. The default settings and almost every slider is calibrated to standard ranges. A big thankyou to falktx for writing Distrho Plugin Framework. It has enabled me to make these GUIs for zam-plugins quickly and neatly. Also thanks to mira, nphilipp, adi, edogawa and Haskellfant who helped package the software for different distros!

Plugins:

ZaMaximX2:

One of the best plugins in the series, this acts as a brickwall limiter for mastering in its default state, but can also be tweaked to raise the average level as a stereo maximizer without ever clipping. Sounds musical even with rough treatment. (Based on DSP found in a DAFX’02 paper).

ZamAutoSat:

An automatic saturation plugin, has been known to provide smooth levelling to live mic channels.
You can apply this plugin generously without affecting the tone.

ZamComp:

A powerful mono compressor strip. Adds real beef to a kick or snare drum with the right settings.

ZamCompX2:

Stereo version of ZamComp with knee slew control.

ZamEQ2:

Two band parametric equaliser with high and low shelving circuits.

ZamGEQ31:

31 band graphic equaliser, good for eq of live spaces, removing unwanted noise from a track etc.

ZamHeadX2:

HRTF acoustic filtering plugin for directional sound.

ZamPhono:

A collection of phono filters for restoring vinyl records, or preparing to cut new ones.

ZamGate:

Gate plugin for ducking low gain sounds.

ZamGateX2:

Gate plugin for ducking low gain sounds, stereo version.

ZamTube:

Wicked distortion effect. Wave digital filter physical model of a triode tube amplifier stage, with modelled tone stacks from real guitar amplifiers (thanks D. Yeh et al).

ZamDelay:

A simple feedback delay unit with sync-to-host BPM feature and filter.

ZamDynamicEQ:

A dynamic equalizer that changes its gain based on detecting a narrow band of frequencies. Can be tuned to alter other frequency ranges on-the-fly.

ZaMultiComp:

Mono multiband compressor, with 3 adjustable bands.

ZaMultiCompX2:

Flagship of zam-plugins:
Stereo version of ZaMultiComp, with individual threshold controls for each band and real-time visualisation of comp curves.

Ever since I got the ZaMultiCompX2 plugin, I have never used (other) compressor. It has independent gain control attack and release with knee makes it versatile and superior. You can make it a dinosaurs and eat up annoying frequency and use it as a way of EQ.

ZamVerb, ZamNoise and ZamSynth:

EQ302 size 2 MB / 16 MB Red Rock Sound EQ302 is a 32 band graphic equaliser offering 12 dB of cut or boost in 1/3 octave …

EQ302

size 2 MB / 16 MB

Red Rock Sound EQ302 is a 32 band graphic equaliser offering 12 dB of cut or boost in 1/3 octave steps between the frequencies of 16 Hz and 20 kHz.

The graphic equaliser is a vital component in any audio system. The entire signal passes through it and so any limitations imposed by the equaliser will compromise the performance of the whole system. For example, an indifferently designed equaliser may introduce severe phase distortion, noise and other anomalies related to centre frequency accuracy, filter shape and attenuation accuracy which may manifest themselves as an overall deterioration in the perceived sound quality of the system. Clearly, this is an unacceptable state of affairs, but fortunately your choice to utilise a Red Rock Sound EQ302 Graphic Equaliser will eliminate these problems, offering you unprecedented product performance coupled with the highest filter calibration and reliability standards in the industry.

It should be noted that graphic equalisation cannot always overcome all frequency response related problems. There are applications where the ability to cut and boost the response at a particular frequency, or over a certain bandwidth other than the equaliser specified one, is required to overcome exceptionally difficult response anomalies or narrow band feedback problems.

When such an instance is encountered, it may be more appropriate to use the greater range of control provided by a parametric type equaliser, where the centre frequency, bandwidth and amplitude are all controllable.

Equalisers may be used for corrective or creative purposes and the Red Rock Sound EQ302 is applicable in both live sound and studio applications.

For studio use, a pair of 1/3 octave equalisers might typically be used to compensate for deficiencies in the control room acoustics and in this instance, the precision allowed by 32 bands is a great advantage. Because it is almost impossible to set up an equaliser accurately without first analysing the room response, the centre frequencies of the filters have been chosen to correspond with those of the Red Rock Sound SA60 Spectrum Analyser. In this way the readings can be transferred directly from the analyser to the equaliser.

When Smiley is happy, it basically boosts hi & low frequencies of your mix and master; when is getting sad, it filters them instead. Regarding that secret sauce, I can’t tell what else is doing besides eq, I didn’t test it too much.
Not just a Smiley face EQ filter, we’ve added some extra secret sauce to make the Smiley a super easy, quick way to add some sparkle to whatever sound you fancy putting through it. Alternatively, move it to the “miserable position” and use it filter some unwanted highs and lows…

Smiley is available in VST3 (Windows) and VST3/AU (macOS) plugin formats. In Windows, the default folder for VST3 plugin is C:Program FilesCommon FilesVST3.

SSQ is a SSL console EQ emulation.
Put legendary console EQ in your rack with the SSQ. Since the early ’80s, producers have loved the E Type consoles for their huge sound and distinctive character. A big part of the sound came from the E Type channel strip, and you get the same circuits in the module.

Famous line-amp re-designed and added to SSQ.

Brown Knob is the sound of early-’80s E Type consoles, with 15dB cut/boost and musical response.

The perfect way for project studios to get the sound of a world-famous console.

Versatile 4 band channel EQ with fully parametric LMF and HMF and HPF/LPF.

Oversampling for better processing.
