The name EQoder is a wordplay between EQ and Vocoder, since you have to use it like a vocoder but the effect is a modulated cascaded Equalizer. In its resulting function it is an amplifying comb-filter.

The fundamental frequency of each unit/voice is controlled by MIDI notes. Thus, in order to use the effect, you need a MIDI input (or the internal keyboard).

The internal harmonic structure of the comb filter can be adjusted with several parameters.

In order to work with EQoder you route it as an insert filter after an arbitrary audio source (e.g. a synthesizer). Since DAWs are very different in routing insert effects with MIDI please refer to the manual of your DAW.

You can use EQoder as a sound design tool or a melodic extension in your composition. Think of EQoder as a tool to play a second melody on the harmonic structure of your original sound, or as a further modulation source for each note of your favorite sound.

Which Plugin Formats Should You Install?
During the installation process, you will find several packages available to install that you can check/uncheck as you require. Depending on the DAW you use, or whether you use a DAW at all, will determine which of these packages you should use.
AU – Audio Unit (Mac Only) for Logic Pro, GarageBand, and other cross-platform DAWs running on macOS (i.e. Ableton).
VST3 – The latest incarnation of VST, supported by newer versions of the above DAWs. This is likely the one you will need unless you are using an older version of one of these DAWs.
AAX – ProTools.
Standalone App – Choose this if you want to use the plugin without a DAW. Perfect if you just want to play without recording, or you don’t want to have to always load your DAW.

The stftPitchShiftPlugin features poly pitch and timbre shifting simultaneously and in real-time. It’s completely based on the stftPitchShift library, which also provides a Python interface and useful command line tools.

Panacea is an autopan audio effect plugin with the possibility of humanization
Panacea is an autopan audio effect plugin with the possibility of humanization, syncing to the host tempo and basic visualization for 64-bit Linux (VST2) and Windows (VST2, VST3). With its help, you can easily add more life and variety to your music.

Panacea is free and open source software released under the GPLv3 license.

How to use
Sync
Switches between free mode and synchronization to the host tempo.

Bypass
Bypass the Plugin.

Rate
Set the speed of the LFO. In non-synced mode, the frequency can be set in Hz. In synced mode, you can choose between 32 time units – from 16/1 to 1/32 T.

Depth
Sets how strongly the LFO affects the panning. At zero it has no influence at all and at 1 it affects the entire stereo width. However, the depth is proportional to the panning. For example, if Pan is set to the far left and Depth is set to 1, the signal only moves between the far left and the center.

Phase
Shifts the phase of the LFO. For example, you can use this to shift the maximum deflection of the LFO from the on beat to the off beat. The phase can only be adjusted in synced mode.

Humanize
That’s the special thing about this autopan plugin. Here you can set how strongly a random generator affects the rate of the LFO, sometimes slowing it down and sometimes speeding it up. In non-synced mode the random generator influences the LFO all the time and in synced mode periodically.

Waveform
The waveform of the LFO can be selected with the large waveform knob in the center. Click on one of the waveform images to jump directly to it.

Pan
The pan control is used to shift the signal in the stereo field.

Gain
Adjusts the output volume of the plugin in dB.

An interactive tool for voice transformation with a neural auto-encoder.
Circe lets you modify the pitch and tension of the voice. Used as a plug-in, these parameters can be controlled automatically by analyzing these characteristics from a second audio track defined as a side-chain. Circe can also be used to create a hybrid timbre between the original track and the one defined as a side-chain.

Circe is available as a VST3 and AudioUnit plug-in and as a standalone application that can be used as an external sample editor. Circe is compatible with Windows, Linux, and MacOS (M series only).

Circe neural auto-encoder model is developed by Frederik Bous and Axel Roebel at IRCAM Analysis-Synthesis Team of the STMS Laboratory.
