YS – Console AMP An audio plug-in for inserting into each track in a DAW to simulate an analog mixer console, to add color to each channel with slight differences in processing.

Harmonics and dynamic noise are added parallel to the main signal. In Linear Input mode, saturation is insignificant compared to Mic Input mode.

For a greater difference between channels, you can turn on the mode that adds a comb filter. The “Random” button randomly switches the saturation, noise and filter settings for the left and right channels.

The Unholy pedal was the first physical pedal designed by our Lead developer Ryan (in the Revolt Custom Audio era). It’s a unique fuzz/distortion hybrid circuit, the positive waves are soft clipped and the negative waves are hard-clipped like a fuzz distortion would be.

This is a wide ranged distortion that can be used for more than just guitars. Try it blended on your vocal and drum busses for grit and character

The unholy was also the first distortion algorithm wrote specifically for Revolt DSP, this very pedal is special to us, it shows our history and even the origins of our first colour scheme

For that reason, we’ve brought it back for free with our latest generation graphics.

YS – Phantasm Analogue Enhancer adds harmonic richness to your sound.
The richness is added parallel to the main signal and divided into three bands by an adjustable crossover.
The bass and low midrange add even harmonics, adding body.

The midrange adds even and odd harmonics and enhances clarity in this range for vocals and lead instruments.
In the high range, odd harmonics are added, adding clarity and brightness to the sound.
All harmonics can be auditioned without the main signal to fine-tune the desired color.
Tone EQ creates a brighter or warmer overall tone.

The midrange can be attenuated, creating the characteristic notch typical of passive equalizers. It also creates subtle volume differences between the center and side channels, enhancing the psychoacoustic stereo effect. The “Bass” button adds 3dB at 50Hz to the center channel and attenuates this frequency by 3dB in the side channels.
‘Flow’ creates subtle vibrations between the channels, matching the project’s tempo in even harmonics, adding volume in the low range.

‘Flux’ simulates the movement of a tape recorder.

An audio plugin for mixing. YS – Summing is designed to be inserted into each instrument track at the very beginning of your plugin chain to simulate the input amplifiers of an analog console. The “Random” button randomly selects EQ settings to add tonal variety to each track.

The changes are subtle, but they give the overall mix a more “live” sound. You can also add light parallel compression to thicken and glue the mix. Update v.1.0.1 adds a DC low-pass filter button – 10-30 Hz. YS – Sum-Gtr Bus can be used on both instrument stereo tracks and buses.

Processing occurs in Mid-Side mode, which can add depth to the sound. The range of the difference between channels is plus or minus 2.5 dB = 5 dB. The low-pass filters are configured to leave the lowest frequencies in mono. Light compression with adjustable compression ratio, not parallel. Attack and release selection via a button with two fixed settings. 1_ Attack 3 ms, Release 70 ms. 2_ Attack 10 ms, Release 120 ms.

One distortion plug-in to rule them all. Black Diamond Distortion is the first plugin from Aspen Instruments. It is a flexible distortion engine designed to cover everything from subtle preamp-style warmth to aggressive modern waveshaping. You can start from a curated library of presets—including classic hardware-inspired designs—or build your own distortion from first principles using four distinct editing modes.

Harmonic Mode is the “bunny hill” of the plugin: it makes it extremely easy to dial in great-sounding distortion quickly. Nearly any configuration of the harmonic sliders produces a usable, musical result.
Under the hood, this mode gives you direct control over which harmonics are excited by the distortion algorithm. Traditional harmonic distortion plugins—often based on Chebyshev polynomials—tend to generate spiky waveforms that are difficult to manage in mixing and mastering. Black Diamond improves on this approach with a novel algorithm that excites harmonics while maintaining a significantly higher crest factor (the ratio between peak headroom usage and RMS energy). The result is distortion that is both harmonically rich and mix-friendly.

Spline Mode allows you to shape the transfer curve using spline anchors. You manipulate the curve directly by dragging these anchors in the editor.
The spline-fitting algorithm is optimized to use as few anchors as possible, which makes each anchor extremely powerful. A single adjustment can reshape large portions of the waveform, encouraging broad, intentional changes rather than tedious micro-editing.

Brush Mode is designed for adding texture and irregularity to the distortion.
The standard brush lets you draw the distortion curve pixel by pixel. Because humans are not particularly good at drawing smooth curves, this often results in “broken” shapes—and sometimes that brokenness is exactly the sound you want.

To compensate for this limitation, the Roller Brush smooths the curve as you draw, flattening jagged edges that can otherwise lead to overly brittle or unstable distortion.

In addition, several texture brushes introduce controlled noise into the curve. These brushes create subtle randomness and unpredictability, making this mode especially fun and rewarding to experiment with.

Equation Mode is the core of Black Diamond. It allows you to define the distortion directly by entering the mathematical equation that computes it.
For users willing to learn a small amount of signal processing, this becomes an extremely powerful tool. Math describes nonlinear behavior far more precisely than manual curve drawing ever could. In fact, equations are the foundation of Harmonic Mode—Equation Mode simply removes the guardrails. This opens the door to experimenting with an effectively infinite range of distortion algorithms.

An audio plugin for mixing. IR is available for Windows only (there is no compatible impulse loader for MacOS). YS – Strip Hi-Fi allows you to load impulse responses from various microphones, tape recorders, and other equipment to simulate analog instruments.

Impulse responses can be loaded from any directory on your drives. After loading, save the preset for quick access the next time you insert the plugin. If the controls are not displayed due to a weak graphics card, replace the images in the root of the plugin folder with a smaller render from the “Knob to change” Knob 51 archive.

By default, all controls are set to smoothly switch at frame 101. If you have issues with VST3 in some DAWs on Windows, try VST2. For fine-tuning, hold down the Ctrl key.

All IR edge processing modules are available (there is no compatible impulse loading module for MacOs).

suddenly ampsims come alive and “feel real” – what a breakthrough !

Audio plugin for mixing to simulate the sound of a tape recorder. This is not an exact copy of a well-known tape recorder, but the general basic characteristics were taken as a basis.

If the controls are not displayed due to a weak video card, then replace the images in the root of the plugin folder with a smaller render from the archive “Knob to chenge”, Knob 101 or Knob 51.

By default, all elements are set for smooth switching with frame 101. If on Windows in some DAWs there are problems with VST3, then try VST2 For fine tuning, hold down the Ctrl key.
